omg? you serious it's comming out on the 30th in Australia? now I hate eb games even more. Didn't give me a preorder pack and delayed it?!

EDIT: I just had a look around, it seems like it's been pushed back to 2nd May 2006.

The Extended Head Start Event will pick up where the initial event ends, and will run for an additional three days. What exactly is the Special Extended Head Start Event ? At first, I thought the Day of the Tengu was being extended, but on second glance it looks to be something different. What is it exactly?

the head start event is now 3 days instead of one..well technically 4.. counting the original day.

I pre-orderd my game online and because of the postal service (upcoming weekend + May Day holiday = NO postal service), predicted that my game will arrive in the post at the earliest on May 2.

Does the extended headstart event announced on the main site mean an extended tengu day event as well??

So will people wo preordered Factions be able to access the Tengu event? Not just those who Bought the preorder? I have entered my key but must wait for tomorrow apparently... I don't see the difference between preordering a preorder and preordering a game...

The difference is between purchasing a Pre-Order Kit and preordering the game. The retailer should have sent/given you a Pre-Order Kit when you preordered the game, but not all retailers understand the whole Pre-Order Kit thing.

I picked up a Pre-Order Kit for $10 at Best Buy the day they were available. I take the receipt back tomorrow when I go to pick up the game and get the $10 previously paid applied to the retail release. So the Pre-Order Kit is essentially free. And the retailer should have made sure you got one before today. It's a problem with the retailer, not ANet.

So, is Anet doing a good thing an extending the pre-order event so that those whose pre-orders arrive late will get in on it? My pre-order didnt arrive today, but hopefully it will friday, since I paid for express shipping, if it does, does the extended head start mean I can get tengu masks? If so, YAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! If not, I might go stark raving mad.
